About HIRE Performance
Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa, Inc. is dedicated to providing job training
and independent work skills for workers with disabilities and disadvantages.
HIRE Performance is a program designed to teach job and work production activities
in order to equip disadvantaged and/or disabled workers with competitive employment
readiness.
Employers may be eligible for tax credits associated with HIRE Performance contracted
services.
Team Training
The workforce selected to satisfy each employer contract is carefully screened and
selected. Prior to bringing a team to a job setting, trainers and supervisors visit
the job site, review the details and specific requirements and address any special
needs or provisions.
Once the site visit is complete, a team of 2 to 4 workers is selected. Each team
has one supervisor. If two or more teams are required, the necessary trainers/supervisors
are assigned.
Once work is underway, constant supervision assures consistent quality and desired
outcomes.
How it Works

Interested employers contact HIRE Performance at (319) 234-4626 and provide a general
description of the work requirements. |

HIRE Performance arranges an employer visit to discuss the program and its advantages.
HIRE PERFORMANCE tours the job setting and evaluates the potential for mutual success. |

If appropriate, a contract is proposed, setting out roles and responsibilities of
each party, to assure that goals are clear and results achieved. |
