Employment Services
Vocational Evaluation
To identify work strengths and weaknesses, determine vocational objectives and recommend
future services.
Work Adjustment
To help prepare a person for a job in the community by working on short-term weaknesses
identified with a vocational evaluation. Training is usually less than two weeks.
Work Services
To help prepare a person for a job in the community by working on long-term weaknesses
identified with a vocational evaluation or assessment tool. Training may take more
than a year.
Pre-vocational Services
To help prepare a person for a job in the community by working on long-term weaknesses
identified with a vocational assessment tool. Training may take up to one year or
longer if approved and will be a combination of work skills in a paid work experience
and unpaid training room setting.
HIRE Performance
A work program to give people a chance to use their vocational skills on a supervised
community job and to enhance their work experience. Training is not time limited.
